Not a whole lot has changed since his 3.5mth update.  His sleeping and eating habits are pretty much the same.  Altho the last few nites he’s been waking every 3hrs to nurse (~12am, 3am, then 6am).  He’s also trying hard to nurse to sleep. Regardless of when I nurse, he ends up suckling, and sleeping. Once I remove my nipple from his mouth he either wakes up or stays totally crashed out, in which case, I just let him sleep.  B/c of this habit of his, it’s hard to keep from nursing to sleep. It’s def not intentional on my part. And since this does happen on occasion, I feel like it’s gotten a little bit harder to put him down at times. He fusses and cries more and tries to suck on his hand/fingers. Since he’s not great at holding his hand in place, he gets frustrated, and it wakes him up more. I’m hoping that as his hand coordination gets better, he’ll get better at appeasing himself and soothe himself to sleep.  We shall see.  We’re also still not on any kind of sleep schedule.  I’m not a fan of this.  His naps are all over the place, and I look forward to the day that he sleeps at set times!!

The one major milestone this last mth has been his ability to grab his toys and bring them to his mouth.  He’s been doing this for the last 2wks or so. Again, he’s not great at it, but he’s started and it’s fun to watch! Of course, he tends to get frustrated if the toy falls out of his mouth or hand and he fusses and cries.  So it goes!! 

I’m just excited that my little man is growing!!
